All the Details on Twenty Valley’s Most Exciting Winery Event

This festival runs from Friday, January 13th to Sunday, January 15th. Special events will take place on each day.

Twenty Valley is in the heart of Niagara’s wine country. There are plenty of things to do while you check out Winefest 2017, and there’s always something to see.

It’s located in Jordan Village, on Main Street in Jordan, Ontario. This quaint, picturesque spot is the perfect environment to enjoy the winter without suffering from the cold.

Admission is free to the Wine and Culinary Village throughout the weekend. Here, you’ll be able to browse local merchants, sample Niagara icewine, and taste local food.

Some of the other events need a ticket, which you can purchase online.

Along with samples of Niagara’s wine and culinary best, you can take in the live entertainment and browse items from the local merchants.

Taste the Best of Niagara Wineries

The Twenty Valley wineries bring their best selection to this cozy festival. Over 20 local wineries will be in Jordan Village presenting their premium wines.

Niagara icewine is well known in the area and has a worldwide reputation. You’ll get to see for yourself why everyone loves it with samples from the region.

You’ll get to pair those elegant wines with gourmet selections from Niagara’s local cuisine. Check out the gourmet selections of treats and snacks for you to enjoy.

If you’re not a big wine drinker, there will be tons of other artisan cocktail and craft beer choices to taste. There’s something here for everyone, so be sure to enjoy!

A Timeline to Twenty Valley Winefest 2017

Friday, January 13th

Winefest 2017 will kick off with the Niagara icewine celebrations at the Wine and Culinary Village. The Village will be open from 6pm to 9pm.

At 9pm, the Ultimate Afterparty starts in the village. This exciting Friday the 13th party runs until midnight. Tickets are $10.

Saturday, January 14th

The Wine and Culinary Village will be open from noon until 9:30pm.

At 12:30pm, there will be a Chef’s One Pot Challenge hosted by Kristin Eppich of House and Home Magazine.

Then, at 2pm, check out the Jordan Village Fashion Show. The Jordan Village Merchants sponsor as well as present this event.

At 3:30pm, you’ll get to see a barrel rolling competition that’s sure to entertain your whole family.

The One Pot Challenge finals and tasting are at 4:30pm, so make sure you stay tuned for the winner.

Saturday night, after the sun goes down, things get a little sparklier. The Sparkling Dinner, held at 6:30pm, takes place in the Windows Room on the Twenty.

Tickets are $125, and you get a delicious four-course dinner created by celebrity chef David Rocco. Each course is paired with the perfect Twenty Valley wine.

The #shakethecave afterparty will run from 9pm until midnight at Cave Spring Cellars. Tickets are $10.

Sunday, January 15th

On Sunday, the Wine and Culinary Village will be open from noon until 4pm.

The Niagara Icewine Brunch at the Window Room on the Twenty starts at 10:30am. Tickets are $75 per person, which gets you a beautiful three-course meal prepared by David Rocco. A carefully selected Twenty Valley wine is paired with each course.

At 2pm on Sunday, the Jordan Village Fashion show will start. If you missed it on Saturday, now’s your chance to take it in.

3:30pm is the Icewine Puck Shootout! If you want to test your skills with the frozen icewine grape “pucks,” sign up by 3pm.

Jordan Village, Twenty Valley’s hidden gem, makes the perfect location for this beautiful outdoor festival. It’s cozy, quaint, and perfect for a winter stroll.
